I love the Ivy and Bean series! I have read all the books. The reason I gave this book 5 stars because It is so descriptive and also it is a mystery book and I like mysteries.

Ivy and Bean books are funny, and full of mysteries.
This funny and surprising story changed my feelings about differences right away when two girls named Ivy and Bean became friends, although they were different from each other. It makes me realize that you will be able to be friends with anyone, even if you don't agree on everything.
This book was ok. I found it kind of boring and hard to understand. Its more of a little kids book. They can relate to it more. It wasn't the best.
Bean's mom is always telling her to play with the girl across the street named Ivy. But Ivy is weird she plays with herself and is always mumbling. But one day when Bean gets in trouble ( again ) she decides to run away till dinner time. But where can she hide ? Ivy can help with that. The girls think up a way to pay back Bean's older sister Nancy. Will they succeed?
This is an interesting and unlikely story about two girls, exact opposites who become best friends, making it their mission to create magic and ruin a certain sisters life. It is a cool book but I don't think you would enjoy it much if you were past the 4th grade.
I only got to the 18th page it is funny I want to read more it does not let me.
These two thought they'd never be friends let alone best friends. They had different interests until one day. When Bean plays joke on her sister, everything changes.
I remember reading this series in third grade. I used to love this series about to mischievous girls. I recommend it for younger grades like 2nd and 3rd grade.
Ivy and Bean were completely different people, and it seemed impossible that these two would have any more of a relationship between neighbors....it SEEMED. An unexpected friendship bloomed between these friends as they learn more about themselves through their own little adventures. This book has plenty of humor, and sometimes, we can easily relate to Ivy and/or Bean. This book is a great example of best friends that are complete opposites. I was fascinated by the author's ability to write and create such bright and exciting characters as well as her talents of writing out such an addicting book.
