The moment they saw each other, Bean and Ivy knew they wouldn't be friends. But when Bean plays a joke on her sister, Nancy, and has to hide quick Ivy comes to the rescue, proving that sometimes the best of friends are people never meant to like each other. Vibrant characters and lots of humor make this a charming and addictive introduction to Ivy and Bean.

I thought that ivy and bean was a good and funny book. I was able to finish it in less than an hour but I couldn't put it down! The book was a little below my reading level but I still thought that it was very exciting. I loved how bean still went through with pranking her sister even though she knew how much trouble she would be in. Overall, it was a great book.

I thought this book was great! My favorite part was when Bean pretended to be a ghost. I also liked when Ivy pretended she was sick so that Mrs.Trantz would let them go past her yard.
