    I am currently in the middle of Uglies and It Wasn't Me. I have to read them for a school thing (does anyone know what Battle of the Books is?) But they're both pretty good.

          No, I only did it for one year when I was in fourth grade because I switched schools the year after and they didn't have Battle of the Books :(. But it was really fun the one year I got to participate in it!

      Nice! I do not know what Battle of the Books is. What is it?

        Well then, here: You form a team of 3 people in your grade, and you get a list of 12 books from your state library association, and over the course of several months you and your team read the books and study the books as much as possible. Then (usually in February for me) you have a school competition where the judge (probably your librarian) asks teams (if there is more than one team, if you're the only one you go straight to district) questions starting with "In which book..." and you and your team whisper together to find the answer of which book it's in!! It's really fun, at least when there's not COVID. And it might not be in your state or school district, so, then you can't do it. :( Usually I have a team with my twin brother and best friend but this year my brother and I are home schooling so we might have to be on a 2 person team, and we're pretty sure it'll be over the phone if it happens. There is school, district, and state competitions. I've has been going from 3-6 grade

          Whoops that was enormously long and I couldn't finish!! So in my 4 years, I have gotten 2nd place in the STATE 3 times!! The other time I got 2nd in district so we did not advance to state. Anyway, it's super great and a fun way to spend time with your best book nerd friends!! I'm sorry if your district does not participate, but you should talk to your school librarian about it!! Or maybe next year...Because this year it might not happen anywhere. Sadly. 💜

    It's actually about -8 here but we don't have a lot of NEW snow, we still have a lot though!! Are you on the East Coast?? My grandparents live over there and can't get out of their house (they never do anyway so it's ok) but the snow went up on their porch and they can't even get to the driveway!!

    Usually, but I just don't have time to read much :( it's been a while since I've done that. Luckily the 28th is coming up! (I really never get tired of my favorite book and it has such an amazing message that I really want to live by, so I re-read the whole thing on the 28th of every month)

      I always read a lot, but right now I am in the middle of KOTLC for the second time (I'm on book 8 now and it's so good!!) and I am pretty much going through one of those in a day😂😂They are soooo good though❤️❤️
