Jahanara is the daughter of his favorite wife Arjumand (he has four wives!!) Her father is Should be Emperor of the world and her mother should be Empress Jewel of the palace and Jahanara should be Princess of princesses. But they aren't any of those things because her father's stepmother Empress (aka the snake or Nur Mahal) Nur Mahal captured Jahanaras two brothers. After Father takes his death and not even Jahanara knows and they and some friends leave the kingdom! her brothers can come back to the family One of her brothers is very particular on how he acts and is in a way. . Kinda mean. The other brother is kind and hasn't changed as much as his brother. As Jahanara grows in this time in history in a good way she voices her opinions and treats people around her with respect (most of the time) This is more then a "princess book" it's well written and I enjoyed it. I decided to read this book because I had read some other books in the series and I decided to read another. This book can get confusing at times very happy. This book is for the kind of people who like historical woman leaders who made a difference. This series is a no put down kind of series. So read.

It is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
