sophia_g's book review was featured in Tuck Everlasting.
Tuck Everlasting is the story where after Winnie Foster runs away to the other side of the fence where the forest of Treegap , meeting Jesse Tuck and his family soon after learning the secret that they drank some spring water that granted them immortality (as in never seeming to grow old and can't die). But there's someone else that they'll soon meet that wants to sell that water for profit. Connecting this to my life, it reminds me of my awareness of mortality and other books that tell you something important, but in a subtle way. I really liked this book because of its writing and its way of storytelling. The only reason that this review is 4 stars and not 5 is because nothing really struck out to be, for me at least, an extreme page turner. Overall this book is great for lots of kids. 4/5 Would recommend.

The Thief Lord is a book where Prosper, his younger brother Bo, run away from home and and find a person who calls himself "The Thief Lord" and join a small gang of street kids who are more family then their parents will ever be. Exciting adventures ensue! The story is amazing and many of the characters remind me of my friends shenanigans. Five stars because the story and writing itself is a real page turner for me. I would recommend to 5th grade and up.

The Badger Knight is a story where Adrian follows his friend Hugh a little after he went to the war. But little did Adrian know that war isn't as great as it seems. The author did a great job with the writing the story itself and the way characters speak considering that this is a historical fiction book. The book and its properties remind me of the battles we face, internal or external (myself included). The reason this review has five stars is because the story somehow connected to me on an emotional level. For 5th graders and up who like adventure in a historical setting, I recommend this book.

Heir Apparent is the story where Giannine is stuck in a hyper-realistic virtual reality after angry protesters attack and break the life support. So now Giannine has to complete the game in a certain amount of time before she dies in real life. This book connects to me through escapism and Giannie herself. Overall, not the best I've read but not the worst, that's why it's rated 3 stars

Fablehaven is a book where Kendra and her brother Seth are staying at their grandfathers house. They soon later realize that their grandfather is the caretaker of fablehaven, where magical creatures reside in grandfather's yard! There will be many adventures for them to face, and it seems to happen all too soon. I can connect to this book to my life from all the other (other I mean many) fantasy books I've read. This is a great book and the reason why this review is 5 stars is because the story is well written, the plot is set out well, and the pacing is just right. I recommend this book 5th grade and up if you happen to find this book.
