The book Stonebird, Mike Revell's debut novel, is one of the most unique and refreshing books I've read for a long time. Something I liked a lot about this book was how it combined supernatural elements (spoiler - yes, the gargoyle is alive!) with the real world. I also loved how the plot was original and, unlike a lot of books these days, didn't feel like something I'd read before. I also really liked the writing style of this book. It's very funny - our narrator is an 11-year-old boy wise beyond his years - and also very pretty. I also liked how this book had an ending that wasn't all happy, but was happy enough and still realistic. The age recommendation on the back said for ages 10 - 12, but I think if you're a bit older, like me, you can enjoy this book as well!

This book looks really great. I haven't been reading as much lately because I'm having hard time finding a good book that I actually want to read. This book looks like an awesome book that I will (hopefully) really enjoy reading. I really hope I win this book!!

This is a pretty good book about Nancy Drew. She is in a movie, but then she realizes that the topic the movie is about might not actually be a myth. Also one of the kids she babysits goes missing and she needs to help find him. Along with the mysteries already and stone that may have proved that the Chinese discovered America before Columbus goes missing. This a pretty good book where a lot is going on.

This book is really good. The Penderwicks spend the Summer exploring and going on adventures. They meet a new friend named Jeffery who accompanies then on their adventures. I recommend this book if you want a fun read.
