I had the opportunity to receive this book through a DOGOBooks giveaway. I was so excited to learn about one of my favorite animals and get to quiz myself on my dog knowledge! And when I got the book...it definitely did not disappoint!! Rich in fun details about dogs and personality quizzes scattered throughout the book, this book turned out to be a dog-lover's dream!! From tongue-twisters to riddles to a fun dog treat recipe, you and your pooch are sure to enjoy this! I love every bit of this book. Every question you may have about dogs is answered like "What dogs are good for locating people trapped in the snow?" and "Can puppies identify themselves in the mirror?" Okay, so just be yourself! 5th grade is a lot like other elementary grades except for the complexity is turned up just a bit. What I mean is, the schools want to make sure you are fully prepared for middle school so you might start having stuff like essays (which are no problem at all), current events (which are actually really fun. I would definitely suggest DOGONews for articles), and projects (which if you like designing boards and doing tons of research, it will be a blast!). So there is nothing to be afraid of...you'll do amazing! :D12 months ago
