well, actually they both they both have spots. See, what makes cheetahs and leopards different are black marks around a cheetahs eyes, called malar stripes, which leopards do not have. Also, if you've noticed, the cheetahs smaller head and bigger chest make it a little cat, whereas the leopard is a big cat just like lions, tigers, cougars, jaguars, and a few others. Actually leopards have a thing called "rosetts", unlike cheetahs who have spots instead. Another thing is, cheetahs do not have the ability to roar except for short periods of time, but leopards can roar for longer periods of time. leopards are stronger and shorter. Also leopards prefer hunting at night and dragging prey into trees, unlike cheetahs who prefer the day and eating in grassy plains. cheetahs are more social then leopards and have smaller and weaker jaws. THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!!! I love animals more than anything in the world!!! This is crazy I wish I was there! Its so cute and cheetas are one of my favriote animlas! Did you know that cheetas are diffrent than leparts because cheetas have dot leparts have patterns! Cheetas are faster than leparts I think too cheetas are my favriote tho I love them I also like giraffes! I heard a giraffe makes a sheep noise!
