This book was very interesting to read. It had a good meaning. Where a young American boy had to stay on a cay (island) with an African-American wise guy. The reason why I would rate this book 3 stars is because the book was interesting and left me wanting to read more, but I didn't like how the book was against one color of someone.

I absolutely love this book. It has a great meaning to it. The meaning of this story is about bullying, in this story a young boy named Auggie that was home schooled for most of his life and that was going to a real school. He was bullied a lot but the bullying had eventually stopped. I had connected to this book because I have seen people get bullied and I know how it feels. Those are the reasons why I would read this book.

The reason why I would recommend this book is because you can relate to it easily. It's a book about the main character that fell and broke her two front teeth and had gotten braces. She was very embarrassed about wearing headgear as most would be.

This book is basically about finding out who your friends want to hangout with and who they want to be as a person. That is what happened to the main character she had to find a new group of friends to hangout with. I really liked this book because it had a really good meaning and story behind it.

I rated this book a 3 star rating because I feel like it still didn't really tell her story like a biography would. I still have to give this book some credit because if I din't know who Taylor was I would probably really like this book. I would still recommend it though.
