This book didn't really have ANYTHING to do with Christmas. The only relation it had was the fact that it took place in December. Also, in the beginning, it kept repeating things that it literately told us about sentences ago. An example of this: "She was his best friend, and completely understood him, in every aspect of his life." Then, I promise you, the very next sentence said, "She was always there for him, and hardly made any demands on him, and was his best friend." I think this book would have done better as a comedy book rather than a more serious book. A comedy that actually had to DO with Christmas. Example of this: "Mike Schmidt looked to the left side of the office nervously. Sweat trickled down his face. He shakily hit the door light button. Chica stood there, menacingly, holding a tray full of Christmas cookies. "I MADE COOKIES!" Mike slammed down the door in her face. "I don't want your girl scout cookies!" he shouted back." Or the author could have done something where Freddy dresses up as Santa and tries to sneak into the office. Or Bonnie plays "Jingle Bell Rock" on his guitar. I feel like something like that would make the story better or funnier. The story could have been better and relate to Christmas. But anyway, this is just my opinion.
