I read the Other Side of the Sky for a school novel study. It’s an inspirational memoir that tells a story of Farah Ahmedi, an Afghan girl, who had to face the hardships of her life and fight for her passion of learning, in which the Taliban were trying to deprive girls like her of. The book goes through how she lost her leg, had to be sent to Germany because of her severe situation, and the terrible tragedy of losing most of her family. Overall, I enjoyed reading this memoir. The book teaches a really great lesson that would stay buried in my brain. The ending is also so well-written, too!

Not this The Other Side of the Sky! This one's a fantasy romance!

Wow, this was really fun! North and Nimh's intertwining fates really added to the premise. I would recommend this to These Broken Stars fans.
