If you are looking for a quick and easy but fun read, this is a great choice. Ever since I was younger, I've loved American Girl Dolls and I have many of their books. My favorite was Samantha, but then they released new dolls and she was forgotten, but now she's back as amazing as ever! It's an interesting book, because it's about a girl who lives in the modern age, but she time travels to Samantha's time period. Throughout the book, it compares modern life from life back then. I felt by doing this, it made you think about how much things have changed over time. I also liked, how it was a choose-your-own-path type story. Those are always my favorite, because you can read it multiple times, and each time something different will happen!

This book was really good! I liked how you could choose your own story. Its a rather quick read, although you can read a different story every time you read it, which is really cool. Samantha's life seems very glamorous, being wealthy and all, but you learn what family and friends mean. Overall it was a really good book and I highly recommend it.
