Artemis may be the goddess of the hunt, but that doesn't mean she always feels brave. Will she find the courage to talk to Orion (the new mortal "star" at school), to make him see her as more than a pal, and to ace Beast-ology class?

The Goddess Girls series by Joan Holub and Suzanne Williams puts a modern spin on classic Greek myths! Follow the ins and outs of divine social life at Mount Olympus Academy where the most privileged godboys and goddessgirls in the Greek pantheon hone their mythical skills.

Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, so why doesn't she feel it? While her peers praise her for her courage and skills with a bow and arrow, Artemis is secretly insecure and timid—especially when the new mortal student Orion arrives. For the first time, Artemis is completely swept off her feet. Could this be love? Orion's manners and hunting skills further deepen Artemis' crush. But when secrets begin to form between the two's growing relationship, Artemis must prove once and for all that she is Artemis the Brave. This novel is one for the ages!

In Artemis the Brave, Artemis, goddess of the hunt, is always perceived as the bravest goddessgirl at Mount Olympus Academy. What her classmates and best friends don’t realize is that sometimes she isn’t as courageous as she looks. And when Orion—a foreign exchange student from Earth—enters the picture, she is even more nervous than usual! Can Artemis prove to her friends, and herself, that she can live up to her goddess name?

I love Artemis I want to be her she is awesome and is loyal and the name of the book she is very brave and she is always so young

This book was awesome. I already was a Greek geek but still this book was awesome! The book is about goddess' in their child part life when they are in an academy. The main character in this book is Artemis, goddess of the hunt and the moon. She starts liking this new mortal in her school. His name is Orion. This is Artemis' first crush. She keeps on trying to make him like her and turns out he kinda does . Turns out he was trying to use her as an advantage to get win. When she finally realizes that, she pulls a prank on him. Read the book to find out about the prank. This book is just always awesome. They have a series about them but not just Artemis. There's Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite, and Persephone. Even though most of the facts aren't true the author is still cool. (The author is making a lot of the facts not true about Greek myths because I think she wants to minimize the violence.) The only problem is it is too girly. They should make a boy series and call it God-boys or something. Still READ it. It is so worth reading for!!!

i love it. it inspires me. It reminds me of nature, and the problem that many middle school girls deal with- crushes.
