Thirteen-year-old Bina has a long summer ahead of her. She and her best friend, Austin, usually do everything together, but he's off to soccer camp for a month, and he's been acting kind of weird lately anyway. So it's up to Bina to see how much fun she can have on her own. At first it's a lot of guitar playing, boredom, and bad TV, but things look up when she finds an unlikely companion in Austin's older sister, who enjoys music just as much as Bina. But then Austin comes home from camp, and he's acting even weirder than when he left. How Bina and Austin rise above their growing pains and reestablish their friendship and respect for their differences makes for a touching and funny coming-of-age story.

Bina and Austin are two kids that are used to spending summer together. But Austin is off to summer camp and she does not have anything to do now. All she does is watches television and lie in bed. Can Bina make new friends to spend the summer with? Or will she be lonely like she was since Austin left for soccer camp? It is up to Bina to show the answers to these questions.

I thought this book was pretty good, it had some weirder parts My favorite part is at the end when she wants to start a band. Definitely recommend for readers 10 and older though. By the way it is a comic book.

Thirteen year old Bina is pumped for summer, but her best friend Austin is going to soccer camp for an entire month! Bina is super bored just hanging around and one day she runs into Austin's older sister Charlie - and by run in I mean Bina crawled through there bathroom window looking for a spare key. - and they become kinda friends, and they like the same music. Bina is worried though that her friendship with Austin is disappearing because he ignored her texts sometimes. When he comes home from camp will things be to different between them? And does being older mean they can't hang out as much? You should definitely read this book it was absolutely amazing! Recommended for 11+ Thanks for reading - Ajg16's reviews

All Summer Long by Hope Larson is a graphic novel about a girl named Bina, and her summer vacation without her best friend, Austin. When he comes back from his soccer camp, Bina is troubled by his change in personality. After a fight that breaks their friendship up, Bina has to figure out if her friendship with Austin can get back to normal, or if growing up, means growing apart...?

What happens when your best friend starts acting weird? Then leaves for a month during Summer Vacation and doesn't text you? Bina's answer? Is to listen to music and play guitar. This is a very interesting book about growing friendships and changing them.

This sounds like a great book I want to read it
