Everyone should read Woodsong because it shows a bond between animal and man that no other book I’ve read has shown. I felt like I was in the book myself and could picture what was happening in my head. Highly Recommend!

My students really enjoyed Paulsen's stories. They found them entertaining as well as educational about the "woods", They especially loved reading about his experience in the Iditarod. We follow the current Iditarod while we read Paulsen's tale. They loved learning about the Iditarod as well.

If you like the outdoors and dogs, you'll love this book. Each chapter is about a different adventure, dog or event.
