At last, Apollo knows who all 3 of the evil emperors of Triumverate holdings are! The three are Caligula, Nero, and Commodus. But sadly, Apollo has not been able to destroy one of the emperors. But will finally defeat them in this book? Recently Apollo has received not only one but two strange prophecies. They don't make sense now, but how will they make sense in the future? One of the prophecies, issued in the third book, tells Apollo and Meg to find Bellona's daughter in camp Jupiter, the roman camp for demigods. Quickly, they set off for the camp, and find that two emperors have attacked the camp, and there were a lot fewer demigods than before... The camp warded off their attack, but Apollo knows that they will attack again. As if that's not enough, Apollo finds out that Emperor Tarquin's tomb is located not far from the camp, and the undead king plans on attacking them with skeletons and ghouls on the blood moon! To defeat them, the prophecy states that they will have to open the doorway to the soundless god with Bellona's daughter, who turns out to be praetor Reyna Avila Amirez- Arellano. Meanwhile, Apollo has been scratched by a ghoul, and he might be turning into one himself... How will Apollo survive? This book is great for you if you like funny books.
The Tyrant’s Tomb (The Trials of Apollo Book 4)
By Rick Riordan
You will get to the Tiber alive. You will start to Jive.
I am Apollo
I will remember
The former God Apollo, cast out by his father, Zeus, is having a pretty rough time of it.
Well, for one thing, he's called Lester. But being an awkward mortal teenager is the least of his worries.
Though he and his friends (some of them) have emerged from the Burning Maze, rescued the Oracle and lived to fight another day, they can't escape the tragedy that has befallen them, or the terrible trials still to face.
So, with heavy heart, Apollo (OK, Lester) and Meg have a triumvirate still to defeat, oracles to rescue, and prophecies to decipher, so that the world may be saved, and Lester may ascend into the heavens to become Apollo once again.
But, right now, Caligula is sailing to San Francisco to deal with Camp Jupiter personally, and they have to get their first. Or risk its destruction . . .
