The moment Bean set eyes on her, she knew they would never be friends. And who exactly is this? The new girl, Ivy. Ivy is calm, quiet, enjoys reading, and plays on her own. Bean, on the other hand, is the exact opposite, and knows that Ivy is probably the most boring person on planet earth. What kind of person prefers reading rather than running around her yard, and isn't boring? Well, that's what Bean seems to think. But a whole new idea of Ivy pops up after Bean's prank for Nancy, her older sister, backfires. Both Bean and Ivy take a new turn at how they look at each other, after Ivy helps Bean escape from trouble. The two sneaky girls bond more in their friendship as they go through a spectacular adventure, but will they become friends? Or will they still stand as enemies? Find out in this amazingly hilarious Annie Barrows book about two friends who never meant to like each other!

This book is a story about two girls, Ivy and Bean who meet and become friends. They have lots of fun together, but some of that fun gets them in trouble! Ivy and Bean can be sneaky, and they love to annoy Bean's older sister. This is a great book for ages 7-10.

Ivy and Bean are two quirky girls who together get into all sorts of trouble. This book is great! I would recommend it to younger readers with a sense of humor. It is realistic fiction. Love it!

This is a great book, espically for younger kids (my little sister is reading it right now.) It's about a little girl named Bean, who has a next-door neighbor named Ivy, who she dosen't want to play with, because she thinks that Ivy is boring. However, when one of her tricks on her older sister, Nancy, backfires, things take a turn for the worse, until Ivy finds Bean and helps her escape. She then finds out that Ivy is sort of cool, and even though she gets a punishment, Bean still likes Ivy, and want to play with her for her next adventure.

I chose this book to find out more about the friendship between Ivy and Bean. The book is really funny. I would recommend this book to others.

I think this a great book because Bean loved to prank her sister.I also liked it because first Ivy and Bean were not friends then at the end they became best freinds.
