The moment they saw each other, Bean and Ivy knew they wouldn't be friends. But when Bean plays a joke on her sister, Nancy, and has to hide quick Ivy comes to the rescue, proving that sometimes the best of friends are people never meant to like each other. Vibrant characters and lots of humor make this a charming and addictive introduction to Ivy and Bean.

I decided to read this book because I wanted to know how two people that don't like each other become friends forever. I really liked this book because it tells that you don't need to think you won't like somebody unless you try talking to to them and meeting them.

I would say this is a book for grades 1-3 maybe even 4. I thought that it was boring most of the time except for one part: throwing worms at Nancy.

I read it super cool best one so far I think. Really funny you should read it. Im waiting to read more of them yah!!

I'm planning on reading this book because 1. It seems good and 2. It's part of my battle of the books books. I hope it's a good book! :)

Summer vacation finishing starting at the same school and same class and meeting each other a becoming best friend! Even when they are the opposite!

really good book. i read it when i was younger and still like it now. my favorite part was that ivy and bean were enemies in the beginning of the book and best friends in the end. i love the magic and tricks that the authors add.

Ivy and Bean is a book about friendship. This is a realistic fiction story about a girl who moves in on Bean's street. She is a strange girl, who is always reading. I mean come on, what kinda kid just reads all day? Ivy also has on a robe colored purple, with gold stars and moons glued on to it. Maybe she's not your average kid, but neither is Bean.

Love it awesome awesome book easy to read fun. And entertaining I read it two times I think it is awesome almost as good as warriors the darkest hour read it
