The moment they saw each other, Bean and Ivy knew they wouldn't be friends. But when Bean plays a joke on her sister, Nancy, and has to hide quick Ivy comes to the rescue, proving that sometimes the best of friends are people never meant to like each other. Vibrant characters and lots of humor make this a charming and addictive introduction to Ivy and Bean.

I LIKE THIS BOOK A LOT. IT IS ABOUT TWO GIRLS WHO ARE BEST FRIENDS AND THEY GET INTO A FIGHT BUT BECOME BEST FRIENDS AGAIN. IT TEACHES A REALLY IMPORTANT LESSON. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR 7-12 YEAR OLDS.

I really liked this book! It was very funny! It is about two best friends and there funny adventures! I could really relate to the character "Ivy". I would recommend this book!

This is a cute book about a seven year old girl named Bean who sees a girl who has just moved into their neiborhood. But from the looks of things, Ivy (The girl across the street) May be more interesting than she thought.

Ivy and Bean are complete opposites, and when their parents tell them to play with each other they refuse. And their parents kept on telling them that one day they became best friends. The part I like about this book is all the pranks Ivy and Bean play.

Me and my sister read this book! We both loved it! It is about two best friends and there awsome adventures! It is a very funny book! I loved it!

This is a good beginners book or good for grades 1 and 2. Ivy is a fun girly girl and Bean is a messy tom boy. Ivy and Bean never meant to be friends. I liked that Ivy and Bean are two very different people that means that you are really never hearing the same things.

I chose this book because it was about sisters and I have older sisters so I could relate. But the book was full of bad attitude and disrespect. I wouldn't recommend this book for young children 'cause they may learn name calling, bad attitude, and disrespect for people. Although it was fun I didn't enjoy the 'badness' of the book.

Ivy and Bean book 1 is a great story for all ages. This book is when 2 girls that are not the same in any way become best friends.I recommend this book to anybody!

i love to read like crazy! reading is best awesomest thing for me! i love it so bad! i always have to read more than a billion books a day! that is my goal that i achieved for 7 years! that is how much i love to read!!

I really like this book! It is about two girls named Bean and Ivy. Bean thinks Ivy is boring because she is always reading until one day when she is hiding from her sister and suddenly Ivy and Bean become the best of friends! I would recommend it to everybody!
