I have listened to the audiobook of this on epic at school it made me fall asleep it is an awesome book I cannot wait to read another one of the books in the series

Another book series that I loved reading. It is about this wolf pup, Faolan, and his adventure in this place called the beyond. Because of his splayed paw, his pack left him to die alone. In this story, he encounters bears, owls, and many wolves. Will he survive? This was great!

It was definitely one of the saddest books in the series, but I loved it anyways. I love how creative Kathryn Lasky is with the names of the animals too. However, it may be a challenging book for younger readers, as the vocabulary is quite advanced. I first read it when I was in 4th grade and that was ok for me, but a challenging book means you learn more from it, right? Overall, it's an amazing book and definitely my favorite book of all time.

This is such a nice and heartbreaking book. Faolan was abandoned on an icy river. His mother and father were driven away from the pack. After a near-death experience, Faolan was found and named by a grizzly bear named Thunderheart. Along the way to 1 year old, Faolan learns about surviving. Faolan loved Thunderheart and Thunderheart loved him. However, when winter came, disaster strikes Faolan as Thunderheart gets killed by a rockslide. After talking with the rouge smith, Gwynneth, Faolan seeks wolves of the beyond, hoping to join a pack to be a gnaw wolf. But he gets mistaken for someone who has the foaming-mouth disease. After getting rescued by Gwynneth, Faolan get accepted into clan as a gnaw wolf.
