Last year I won the Almanac 2021 and it was SO GOOD! I read it 2 times and I gave it to a friend, who also loved it. I can't wait toads to my collection of Nat Geo! I have a few books already, and the Almanac 2022 will be a table-topper! I'll give it to my friends, and I'll learn a lot more things. Nat Geo is definitely the best, so please consider me winner! Thank you for the giveaway!Almost 3 years agobookfan123 replied to a comment in

Almanac 2021 is one of the best books out there. It offers cool information that I loved to read about, and includes some fun games, like two amazing Mad Libs and many more games. This 352-page nonfiction book managed to keep me engaged with vivid text features and chapters that never show a sign of tuning down, and it is special for a book to throw so much information while readers remember a major portion of it. It's an accomplishment that's rare among nonfiction texts, but Nat Geo masters it with this book. Overall, I'd say it's very engaging a recommend this book with 5 stars.Almost 3 years agobookfan123 has read this book.

The Harry Potter books have been full of 5-star suspense, and for it to continue- and become even better- is certainly an achievement authors can dream about but J.K. Rowling has snatched out of thin air. For starters, Harry thinks he's an outcast after accidentally blowing up his aunt, but that's the least unexpected thing in this book, which probably says a lot. When Harry Potter come into Hogwarts for the third time, he has defeated Voldemort 3 times. Which is the lucky number. But will his luck stretch... considering the brand new problem the author brings in...the Prisoner of Azkaban. Sirius blacks is convicted of killing 12 Muggles (non-wizards) and 1 wizard, and is held in Azkaban with dementors, which suck the good thoughts out of you. Breaking out of the prison is hard, but that's just what Sirius Black does. One thing is clear: He is after Harry Potter, the destroyer of his master and him. This time, Harry's not that lucky...Almost 3 years agobookfan123 has read this book.
