A young girl that has never been out in the open, just in a fish tank all her life. This book is so tense and enjoyable I love ittt!

Fish Girl has never been out of the water. In fact, she's never been anywhere except the home of her tank. Here, people come to see the animals and fish. But they also come to try to spot Fish Girl, the mysterious mute mermaid in the tank. She's never questioned her life, it's always been perfect. But what if being a mermaid isn't what it seems? Can Fish Girl discover herself with the help of a new friend and learn to spread her tail.

She's never been outside the fish tank. She's never known where she came from. She's never been fully seen by a human except for Titan. She's never looked deeper into the words of Titan, her master and the owner of the boardwalk aquarium. And she's never been called anything but "Fish Girl..." Until a human girl fully sees her one day and they become friends. The girl shows the mermaid the ways of the humans and teaches her. The mermaid is compelled toward the human world and fights against her bonds until they break. Forever. This is an amazing graphic novel and I loved reading it. It really inspires friendship, courage and trust in the unknown!
